Zarqawi reported killed in Baghdad air raid.

Zarqawi reported killed in Baghdad air raid.

    And good riddance to him.

Zarqawi IMO was just a perverted man who killed for no other reason than his love for blood thirsty killing ... the more bloody the better.

The Iraq conflict was no more than an excuse for him to hide his crazed blood lust behind.

ps : Link now corrected .. humblest apologies.

Replace Zarqawi with Blair or Bush

and it still reads as the truth, except for the being dead bit, but we can hope. Scary or what.
    Why not?

If you believe all the hype that surrounds figures such as Bin Laden and Zarqawi, it's amazing how much carnage a single individual can wreak isn't it? I don’t know where this guy was trained but we could do with a few of him on our side couldn’t we?! There would be no need for a military at all. Now that he's dead perhaps Iraq will return to harmony and bliss. Like feck it will! Zarqawi and Bin Laden are convenient symbols, wheeled in to justify war or discredit the insurgency and wheeled out to boost political support at home.

The European Union says it will no longer use the phrase "Islamic Terrorism" to describe attacks carried out by Muslims. Instead, EU press releases will use the phrase "terrorists who abusively invoke Islam."

The words "Islamist," "Fundamentalist," and "Jihad" will also be banned, as part of a new "lexicon" that seeks to avoid offending Muslims.

The EU's counterterrorism chief says the government is taking great pains to use language that "makes clear that we are talking about a murderous fringe that is abusing a religion and does not accept it"

You don't want to go around offending terrorists. They might get all upset and throw a hissy fit.

Its a bit of a joke really...Z is an out and out terrorist YET the BBC refuses to call him one!

AND...just who's freedom is this terrorist fighting for? Abdallah Average on the street? Well you would think so if all you ever read was the BBC...but then again you think he would stop lopping peoples heads off if he was a true freedom fighter
