"Under direction, installs and maintains diesel power generators/plants and related electrical equipment on ISAF & NATO Base within Afghanistan. Involves irregular hours and extensive in-country travel. Performs other duties as assigned."

Yes, other duties such as - get this fooking gun mate and defend yourself: ain't no such thing today as non-combatants.

        "Salary (£): 25,000 - 39,999"

I was born and bred in an ex mining town in the Welsh valleys. It was wonderful, I moved to Portsmouth and used to go clubbing near the docks. I burst out laughing when people told me it was a rough area. I was only beaten unconscious once over the entire year (and technically that was my fault as I punched a bouncer when he was trying to throw me out)!

I have never bothered with Afganistan - too quiet and not enough sheep.
