the FT are reporting today that IKEA are planning to open hotels in the Uk, Netherlands and Poland.. interesting idea seings as they already have all the furniture to go in a hotel along with the food.

I would hope they don't have any bits left over once it's been put together.

Do you think they have special 6 foot allen keys for locking the supports?

Probably get quite rickety and shabby after a couple of years and they'd have to build a new one
      Hard Brexit now!

It would all have to be replaced every month. IKEA furniture is tulip. I see Travellodge are in some difficulty though.

Lots of hotels - all the ones I stayed at in Sweden anyway - look exactly like Ikea to start with so they're just dealing to the customers direct

And they have meatballs for breakfast in Sweden.

I was in Sweden recently, and the hotels were excellent. The whole society is 100% child friendly, pubs, shops, hotels, all had big play areas with attendants.
The hotel had a cot in it, even though we only bokked a double.
The room had a porthole into the ensuite, which was a bit weird
