Just secured a new contract, start Monday, lower rate but will save 1.5 hours a day commuting and is longer term.

Does the lower rate match your previous rate - minus 7.5 hours?

I take it when you add in the 1.5 hours the hourly rate will be the same or better.

I hope the place is also nicer than the current one (from memory you were debating the previous renewal).

I am not known for my great accountancy skills but it works out about the same give or take 10 quid.

Where is it, if that isn't a personal question?

                    It's 1.5 hours nearer!

                    Anyway, congrats.
