Who's used ESC C16 since Apr 08 & used entrepreneur's relief?

Please can any (ex?) contractors who had a company struck off in the last few years claiming ESC C16 comment here.

1) Did you claim entrepreneurs relief on the capital gain.
2) Was it challenged by HMRC.
3) What was the size of the cash balance (if you're prepared to disclose).

ESC16 applied for in December 2008.
ESC16 granted by HMRC in February 2009.
ER claimed on the 2008/2009 SA tax return.

1. Yes.
2. No it wasn't challenged by HMRC. (Or if it was my accountant dealt with it, which is a possibility). I certainly didn't hear anything.
3. About £65,000.

So far 100% of people commenting above have successfully claimed ER on the extraction of cash from a solvent company...so looks like there's nothing to worry about on the MVL front
