Got an appointment to test drive the Toyota GT86 tomorrow

...It's almost a dead cert that I will order one (or maybe the near identical Subaru version).
From the reviews it's a proper smiley driver's car and the price is good.
    Hard Brexit now!

yes it's nice. Test drove one last week.

Was tempted myself but I don't think I'll be able to tow my boat. Unfortunately, with all the country fairs I attend it's 4x4 all the way for me.

    How much are you paying?

It looks great but isn't a bit of a cliched midlife-crisis car?

Depends how you look at it. If you have a midlife crisis it is, if you don't it isn't.

If I go for it I'll look for the best deal. As a new model unlikely to be too much discount anywhere, though

A retired middle aged man runs out and buys a fancy sporty car

If you're bored enough to post on CUK when retired, go for it

If you don't get the point of the car, don't buy it.
