Personally I think this is taking things a bit far, but there should probably be some kind of financial penalty for companies without enough women in senior management. (my own ltdco excepted of course)

Who? The European Socialists? Don't be silly; some of them are misguided but in this case one stupid bint who's part of a large fraction in the European parliament made a silly suggestion that will never be implemented because most the other MEPs will simply laugh in her face and even if they don't then most national parliaments would refuse to implement this stupidity. Does nobody ever make a silly suggestion in national parliaments or town councils?

You do realise that the fact people still list women alongside minority groups is exactly the reason they want to introduce such rules?
