Things to do at night by yourself

Currently doing the Monday to Friday in a B&B thing, away from home, all by myself. Ideas to keep myself sane needed!

Visit restaurants, go to the cinema, watch TV.

What do other people do in this situation?

I have a Cineworld Unlimited card, so if I there is one near by that takes up as much times as I can get away with

Was reading about that last week actually. "from" £15/mth but a 12 month contract type thing. I'll only need it for around 6 more weeks though. Still, very worth considering for next time I bag a Mon-Fri B&B gig.

Find the best local pub (for whatever your values of "best" are) and spend every evening there with a good book. If they also do food, so much the better; if not, you'll need to find the best local chippy too, and a route past the latter to the former allowing enough time between the two to get your scran down.

Amazon Kindle is my timewaster of choice in those scenarios. Or a few DVDs on my laptop. If it's a nice area and you feel like it, you could alternatively nip out and meet the locals down the pub.

Netflix on iPad is pretty awesome if you've got half-decent WiFi. Or on your laptop. You can get a month trial free (sometimes) and TopCashBack will pay you a tenner for doing it. Same applies to LoveFilm.

A Kindle is also a great call. You might also consider online poker if that floats your boat.

A combination for me of Netflix, downloaded films/shows on lappy, going for a beer or two, eating out, porn and wanking, poker sit'n'go and newly added last week, a single buy in poker tourney in a local casino.

By the time Friday comes, i need to get home for a rest

What a shame Old Hack isn't here. He could have given you a whole list of cottaging sites in the UK. He's an expert he was saying.

Distance learning degree....or just learn something new on your laptop. Play an instrument? take your guitar with you. Look on the internet for meetup groups in the area, perhaps there's a train spotting group.
                  I'm alright Jack
