    Big Companies and Tax Avoidance

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology...ebook-uk-taxes

Seems though FB has over a billion users they still manage to pay a paltry amount in taxes, the use of a HQ in Dublin seems to be quite popular. Any chance I could do that when I eventually return to work in the UK? Set up an Irish company and run everything through it?

Funnily enough that is my current occupation, so theoretically is there any chance that a contractor could do the same as these big companies in terms of using Ireland as HQ and working in the UK?

It can't disappear. It will lurk somewhere in the cloud and occasionally be shown in google searches.
