    3" Extension

Just thought I'd share my good news.

The last 4 weeks the ClientCo has been adamant, due to silly "12 months on site" rule that there was no more work for me after the year I've spent here. Went out and secured another role in Leeds that I wasn't particular ecstatic about (the daily commute) even though the rate was good for my skillset.

Last day on site on Friday, PM comes over and offers me another 3M with a possibility of perhaps another 9M after that

...and to be cheeky, played one off the other and got a decent daily rate hike to boot...

Doesn't 3" mean 3 seconds? Shortest extension ever

I thought he'd responded to one of those 3" extension emails.

Or he'd made the most pointless home improvement ever.

Well I thought the boss had giving him 3 inches. Bit worried when this extended to 6 Metres and then 9 Metres though!!!

But anyway.. 12 months + 3 months and knowing a 9 monther might be on... I presume you are stopping claiming any subsistence now then

Client co broke their 12 month max rule for me today.

I was actually really looking forward to going but feel compelled to stick around for the extra work.

Compelled by a nice day rate per chance?

3"? I thought the average was 5.5". Not really something to boast about it.
