fancy dress costume for a couple

any ideas, Karneval season is soon approaching (beginning 11/11) and I need some ideas for what gf chef and I can wear.

the only idea I have thus far is Hans Solo (wearing a stormtrooper costume but carrying the helmet) and gf chef could be princess leia

Saw a great Mario and Luigi at a party on Saturday which worked well I thought.
