    Where do you start?

When doing up a shirt, do you start with the top most button or the bottom most?

Top to bottom for me but it makes no difference.

It's how I was dressed when I couldn't do buttons up for myself as a kid so that set the pattern.

I've no idea. I don't normally bother unbuttoning my blouses - just pull 'em over my head.

Probably bottom to top, but don't think I'm consistent.

Top to bottom, bottom to top has a serious risk of button to hole mismatch and that kind of thing pisses me off in the morning.

I think bottom to top. And I undo top to bottom. I've no idea why.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

When I was at school I discovered you could speedily undo your entire shirt by holding the button side at the bottom, and tugging the buttonhole side up. My mother wondered why I ended up with so many missing buttons.

WMSS! I don't do ties so top button already undone. Undo one more button to get it over my head and only one to do up in the morning
