If that's how you write, how's your code?

    We need a malapropism smiley.

To affect is not the same as to effect. To effect something is to bring it about. To affect it is to make a difference to it. The effect affects me.

The "bear minimum" would be one ursine creature. Less that that and I couldn't bare it.

If you are pouring over a document, what are you pouring?

And don't get me started on loose, or I'll cry havoc and lose the dogs of war....

Off of, instead of from. Really gets my dander up.

Orientated instead of oriented is another one.

Ahem, the correct English word is orientated.

ms is correct, though I must admit I use both interchangeably. However, when I think about whether I'd use "re-oriented" or "re-orientated" to describe a change in direction, it's unmistakably the latter I'd use.

Guestimate instead of estimate really annoys me. People work can't pronounce ask, it's 3 letters FFS why turn it into 6, arksed

My missus (translator/interpreter) hates 'should of/could of/would of' - drives her mad.

My brother gets 'as' and 'has' wrong 100% of the time - I keep telling him just write/say whichever one you think is wrong and you'll be right.

                  Ahem, bollocks.

                  No such verb 'to orientate'
