    The New Sweeney movie

...on DVD-SCR now at usual places, don't bother though it's well rank.

Ray Winston - top actor or just, well, crap? IMHO - crap....

    He was great in scum.

"This fooking tool" - bang. Or maybe it was just great when I 16?

Is that when he said 'Who's the Daddy?' - or is that another one?

Is that the film where he has lots of sex with his teenage daughter?

Cheerful film that. Can't remember what it's called.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Nil By Mouth? Storming in Sexy Beast. Managed to stay on the screen somehow next to Ben Kingsley's terrifying Don Logan too.

The War Zone was the one I was thinking of. Proper wrist slashing stuff.

Isn't it Jack Regan with a Martini? Big bangs, super villains and a souped up Rover?

At least there is one positive thing Denis Waterman won't sing the theme tune

"I'm the Daddy now!", after thoroughly doing over the Borstal's hard case

I watched Scum again quite recently - I bought the DVD set with the original BBC play, which wasn't shown for many years because it was felt to be too violent, as well as the film. They're both excellent, if exceedingly brutal.
