That's true it's a UK thing - I 'Jumped to Conclusions' again! Office Space.....

As soon as they mentioned the evidence was obtained under torture, it seemed unlikely they were going to deport him.

Shame really I would have loved to have seen him deported

Who is paying for his lawyers? Taxpayers most likely :mad

He makes more in an hour than you spend in a month.

To pay for his sex change? Although it says his lawyer is some chap called Edward Fitzgerald and his solicitor is called Gareth Pierce (Pierce Fitzgerald anyone?) although it could have been some called Professor Beverley Milton-Edwards but whomever it was, it was absolutely pathetic

just extradite him to the states (I'm sure they can find an excuse), they will then send him on holiday to Jordan.

The guy's probably wanted over the world; there must be somewhere in the world that can give him a 'fair trial'. Home Office, keep searching please.

Still, at least he can be kept under surveillance in Britain.

No point complaining. If you outsource your justice system you take the consequences.

Can't they just fly a judge and some lawyers over from Jordan and try him in their embassy or something? Put them under UK monitoring or something to prevent the waterboarding or whatever they're worried about. Issue sentence, chuck him on a plane to carry out sentence, and put it all behind us.

No, because he won't get fair trial under their system which is true for vast majority of countries in the world.

A few sweet words in the King of Jordan's ears next week will see some laws passed in his homeland PDQ (and quickly changed back once he gets sent back), which give powers to the judges not to use evidence gained from torture.

Then see the fecker hung, drawn and quartered after a quick kangaroo trial.

Nothing to see here, he'll be out before spring has sprung its first daff

I wish the UK was like CUK. Just one person to be judge, jury and executioner.

Great how he despises the West, apart from the money, housing, lifestyle, etc.
