    Celebrity Train Journeys

I shared a carriage with Bill Oddie tonight. He was after a flapjack with his complementary cup of tea (first class natch) but had to put up with a dunking biscuit. He fell asleep by Luton so I didn't have time to try out some Ecky Thump on him.

Seemed very strange to be two feet away from a sleeping childhood hero... I know he does the bird watching etc nowadays but to me he'll always be a Goodie.

Anyone else shared a train journey with a Celeb?

All the time. Pete Townsend commutes from the same station as me, and David Blunkett is on there too, reading his paper. Then there's that bloke from, what was it, can't remember.

With Norman Tebbit on the train back from Brighton.
No it was not just after he had been bombed in the Grand Hotel, as it 'appened.

Bob Crowe the union guy on the Victoria Line. Timothy West the actor at Victoria station. No I didn't twat him one..
