    Another attempt at astrophotography

    Jupiter with Europa, Io and Ganymede visible. Nikon D3000, VR 55-300, F4.5-5.6 lens, 300mm ISO 1600, 3secs at F5.6

    I fooking hate anyone who believes in astrophotography. Its all voodoo. And most of them are child abusers. Should all be banned.

    Anyway you are rubbish at it. Thats not Jupiter. Thats Nibiru.

                  The lens is the cheapest end of the Nikon range so not great and manually focussing is a challenge cos I'm half blind anyway.

                  Even at a 3 sec exposure you get some trailing because of the Earth's rotation so need better gear to get a decent pic.

                    You can counteract the Earth's rotation by holding the camera at arm's length and slowly twirling around. You'll reduce shaking if you emit a loud 'moo' which tightens your diaphragm muscles and tenses your core.
