    It looks like I won't be having a great Christmas this year. I whinged to the agent about the lack of work at the client. The agent has spoken to the client and I guess the client will be speaking to me at some point tomorrow. If I am shown the door, I'll probably be relieved.

      That's a little difficult when you are in an open plan area, and the person who is suppose to be training you up can't be bothered.

        De-Booming

        I had that at DWP, I was doing eff all and told all and sundry cos I hate being idle, and I mean the programme manager too, kept me on, was literally just surfing all day, then got asked if I could help with some Tivoli tulipe which though boring and tedious was something, aced it, mega thanks, all impresssed - then, canned!!!

        Was glad to go tho tbh...

          As a programmer, there is always some new tech to play with, so anytime I've ever had quiet periods at a client co I always find something to look busy with
