    Christmas song purge

I think they all have to go, most of them were never that good when they were written and they seem to be hanging about like a bad smell now. McCartney's can go first, brutal song.

What about the old classics you just don't seem to hear anymore?

Guy Fawkes - "The last man to enter Parliament with honourable intentions."

Anything from the 80s can go right now, that feckin stop the cavalry song can GTF as well. There is some kind of misconception that that is a 'good' Christmas song, it's not, it's crap.

I wish it could be Christmas every day - what a daft prospect, santa would be knac*ered, the shops would never be open to buy presents or food and 365 Queens speeches every year

              +1 for that.

Made a start though when the original master tape got destroyed in floods the other day. (or was that a different one?)

And get that bloody Noddy Holder song in the skip as well.

Mistletoe and Wine? What's that supposed to be about then?

Both of Cliff Richard's Christmas songs should be shoved right up his arse. Never to be heard again.
