    Anyone been to see The Hobbit yet?

    Where I come from its been re titled to "Th'Obbit"....

    It's not on piratebay yet so I've not seen it.

      Yeah, visually spectacular but I would say it is a tad slow due to it being in 3 parts. I didn't know this before I went so was a bit concerned they hadn't even started the quest over an hour in. Lot of time spent on the history and the lore of whats gone by in the past which I did think were strung out a bit. Felt a bit deflated when I left tbh but glad I went.

          3 parts!! oh damn I'm taking my daughter to see it on Christmas Eve and was then going to watch the LOTR over the holiday with her

            I took my daughter and she loved it. It helps if you are easily entertained by far fetched excitement I loved it

                I don't think the two are connected so not like a true follow on story but might be a bit disjointed so easy to mix up the action in between Hobbit 1 and 2.

                    What on earth made them do that ? The book is hardly big, so stretching it into 3 movies is ridiculous !
