Is there _any_ sensible way to avoid sitting and staring at the screen 8 hours a day?

Upon having some male gatherings around the holiday season, we all came to a conclusion that a career on many levels doesn't matter as you pretty much end up staring at the screen all day.
In general I don't have any major nye resolutions for 2013 as any change would still means sitting down and staring at the screen all day so I might as well stick to what I do right now (sit and stare at screen with occasional typing).
Short of flying away and becoming a scuba instructor, is there any sensible area of contracting that you don't sit and stare at the screen most of the time?

Plenty, well paid too and small things like minor criminal record is a plus - contractors urgently needed at all locations in Iraq, Afghanistan and soon Iran.

There are a number of ways

You can become a contractor cleaner on London Underground but then you're going to have to kiss Bob Crows arse
