The consequence of being a Good Samaritan.

I'll remember this if I'm a witness to an accident. I'll offer them my umbrella but possibly not my car.

Not sure if the insurance will pay out on this but she's lost her no-claims big-time I would expect.

I heard once about police asking a car driver to use their car as part of a road block to catch a stolen car. Their car got wrecked and neither police nor insurance would pay out.

Never ever be a good Samaritan.

Of course she will get paid. And everyone has protected no claims these days so she will be fine.

If good men do nothing the world is doomed.

      Always be a good Samaritan.

"the two complained of neck pains"

"no one was seriously injured in the collision."

So she lost her car so they could claim whiplash compo.

I guess you could always refuse permission to the fire service to take off the top of the car. But would they do it anyway?

And be held liable for the results if there was a serious situation? No thanks. I am sure the decision is out of your hands if human life is involved though.

Buy a convertible. Will cater for any eventuality.

                WSS.

According to the Express, it was a £20K car. It looks like a mid 90s Vectra to me, and even though as we all know the Vectra is the ultimate car for the discerning driver, in reality it's probably worth £500. Get a grip woman.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
