Given his ugliness, poor hygiene & limited intellectual ability- a pensioner or a dog would be classed as a result.

      Beggars can't be choosers

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

I thought they could print the Union Flag on one side and the Irish Tricolour on the other side. On a windy day no one could argue which one was flying..

            Sorted..

Geek Note : The Paraguan flag has a different front to back and is the only flag to do this. Others have the lettering not reversed so it is readable but the Paraguan one has a different symbol in the middle. Stange but true.

Flags were invented because of radios. FACT!

well, a lack of radios to be exact.

In the olden days, in a noisy battle , rapid communications were impossible. The only way you could quickly discover where units and the line was, was by looking at the unit flags.

Flags were used to pass messages. In land warfare, an army would use a maximum of three, to avaoid confusion. In naval warfare a whole language based on flags evolved.

This is actually the origin of the word "slag". The original message was "your flag is dirty"
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I thought the French toyed with the idea of emulating this when they were asked to take part in GW1.
The Yanks suggested one with all white on one side and a yellow stripe down the back.
