What to charge for IT contracting with Security Clearance

    Hi all,

I am fairly new to the game of contracting and negotiating prices etc..

I have fell victim to being underpaid several times.

A daily rate is where I have had problems.

For example for a days work IT contracting, I quote £100 including any travel expenses.

Would you say this was too little?

Also work over a weekend, how much should I increase this if at all?

Is this about right for SC IT contracting or should I be charging more?

    Many thanks

Fair point, IMAC mainly and router installations and configuration. Thats the only kind of work I am getting, I have CCNA, COMPTIA A+, MCDST and a few random MCP'S with solid server and exchange experience.
