No chance Ed will win an election.

He doesn't have to 'win'; he just has to not lose as badly as the Tories.

Ed doesn't need to win; all Labour need is for Cameron to lose. It's a subtle distinction, but a very important one.

              Precisely.

Ed may be a bit laughable as a candidate (but who isn't lately), but so far the ConDems have pretty much managed to p-ss off pretty much every single voter demographic. That will no doubt help Labour in the next election.

Aside from the fact that Cameron didn't 'win' either. It's been a while since we've had someone in charge who actually 'won'.

What an embarrassment this country will be if Ed doesn't lose.

Can you imagine Ed holding important talks with Vladimir Putin

He'd probably wind up selling the UK to Russia for some magic beans.

Yes. For at least the last 15 years the government has been chosen by attrition rather than by a positive mandate.

I think the biggest threat to the Tories is UKIP tbh.

I'm tempted to vote UKIP, but that will just be a vote for Labour.
