Clear roads, Radbroke with plenty of parking at 9:00am.

Most likely, it was quiet on the roads for me too, we are all planning to go home at lunch time which I think a lot of people are planning so no doubt it will be busy then :ohwell

Tons of snow in Wales. So deffo WFH.

Client sent email around yesterday telling everyone they could WFH if conditions were bad. Can't help thinking if we'd has two flakes some would have done anyway.

Now what was that nice website again? {{cracks knuckles}}
Pity wife and son are here also today ;-)

Nope. Site closed. No provision to WFH.

It's my final day of the gig anyway so balls to 'em.

Only the public sector closes and entire site with 2000+ bods for this:

Hardly impassable (http://www.ipo.gov.uk/cam/)

Every day is WFH day for me :happy

Lucky that - there's no way my car would have even made it up the hill to leave my street.

Our clientco have the draconian mindset that WFH is Verboten, especially to IT staff with VPN. One bod out in the sticks was forced to take a day's annual leave as WFH was denied.

Fast forward to 10:00am today and management decreed that we could go home.

So, rather than announcing on Thu that everyone should WFH, instead, everyone spunked out cash on transport costs to get into clientco, do 1 hours work and then risk the roads to go back home, ensuring the clientco did no business for a day.

And one person wasted one day's annual leave.

Dontcha just love these dinosaur *******?

I, however, will be invoicing.

I had to be on clientco site in London this morning. All part of the job.

Left to come home 2 pm, just before the railways started to melt down.

Or whatever the snowy equivalent is.

Easiest journey of the week

If I had still been a permie it would have been WFH though.
