There are so many £800/day .NET contracts up for grabs, all the permies are going contracting. Where will it all end?

Come on guys. The poor chap is asking for advice and you lot are just giving him rubbish recommendations.
Personally I would go offshore, you could save a lot of money that way.
              These guys are recommended:

jcc, if you're thinking of moving into contracting, the only supplier to consider is http://www.james-smith.co.uk/main.htm. You have to look the part and distance yourself from those permie losers with their free promo brollies.

What's the point. Nobody ever gets these jobs, and those that do are boastful *****.

I work hard, I try and earn my keep, but as talented a VB programmer that I am - I am doomed forever to shovelling tulip for men in suits. Watching others lap up the rewards for incompetant work.

There's nothing wrong with an imported umbrella... well, it might fall apart after a week or two but it's cheap.

Apparently some umbrellas made abroad come with their own umbrella holder.

Unfortunately, he tends to dissapear after a couple of days and moves into a council house in Cardiff.
