Spend half the first morning answering agents' calls, mentioning you may be tied up for a short while, but quoting outrageously large rates in a loud voice (expressing derision at any below £500 a day).

Go for an umbrella scheme that lets you keep all of your money while at the same time letting HMRC know you are in their really good scheme

Ignore IR35 - you are a ltd company so it does not apply to you.

Whilst doing your assigned job, check whether any other works needs doing for other teams or in other parts of the project.

As soon as you get any money in your company bank account spend it all on expenses immediately.

Making sure you expense everything you can think of.

So if your kids want presents - expense it.

Don't bother reading your contract, the agent probably checked it for you.

Don't worry about leaving money in the account, take it all out. You can put it back in to pay VAT and CT later... Live for the moment.
