Queen Beatrix has been head of state since 1980, when her mother abdicated.

This is royal behaviour cloggie style, btw. Wilhelmina abdicated in favour of Juliana who abdicated in favour of Beatrix. Just saying.

I think the Queen will go this year, going to a cabinet meeting was one of her last things to do before she goes I believe.
