    Do you have a rider?

I'm sure we all prefer to use our own kit on client sites (I know I do, and I don't skimp on having the best tools for the job) but what do you do when the client insists you use one of their machines?

I've lost track of the times I've been given an obselete PoS that doesn't even have enough RAM to run their AV of choice, never mind 20GB 78rpm hard drives, so how do you handle this situation?

I'm thinking of putting together a technical rider i.e. minimum spec hard and software that I expect to be given if I can't use my own.

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I had a crappy clientco PC but it was brilliant. While code was compiling, I had more time to spend on CUK!
If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.
