Chris Huhne - will he do time ?

Chris Huhne changed his plea at the last minute, presumable because he felt a better chance of leniancy from the judge, than he did of being let off by the jury.

Will the judge show leniancy ?

how many other lies did the lying git tell?

The judge told him he could expect a stiff one. Sentence, that is.

He's now announced his resignation as an MP. Surprising.

Mrs Pryce still denies the same offence on the grounds of marital coercion.
I wonder if that defence will work ?

I would be very surprised if the sentence is not a minimum of 1 year. Supposedly the guidelines are 6-12 months and being a public servant he should expect to be made an example of.

He should get a custodial sentence.

Get in in perspective guys, he's no Lord Archer is he.

And his ex is pleading "marital coercion", or cowardice as it's otherwise known.

Granted he's shafted himself but I'd rather see the taxpayer paid jail cell go to someone that deserves it.
