    Celery

Wife seems to have got a bag of this stuff and stuck it in the fridge. Celery is just rank if you ask me.

Maybe she is playing mind games with me, using the bag of the stuff as a plot device to start the "we should do the shopping together" discussion.

I don't think much of it raw, but celery gives soups and stews a lovely aroma.

In small amounts, chopped up and mixed with onion and diced carrot it's a good start to making stews, soup and stock. But raw,

Only time I eat celery is when it's in a Bloody Mary.

I suppose celery does make the Bloody Mary taste nice by comparison.
