Anyone else using their telescope ....

... to try and spot that bloody great rock hurtling past Earth?
Santa brought me a Celestron AstroMaster for Christmas, today is the first time I'm going to try and use it

This evening I shall mostly be using my beer goggles
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Make sure you focus it on the right spot, that's the problem I'm struggling with.

I'll be using binoculars as tracking it with a telescope will be difficult.

EDIT: It'll be much more difficult since the clear skies of an hour ago have now totally clouded over.

I bought some Celestron 25 * 100 SkyMaster binoculars a couple of months ago.

But it's so flipping large and heavy I'd probably knacker a muscle if I tried holding it over my head too long
