    Tube Etiquette

I'm convinced the girl sat opposite me has her shoes on the wrong feet. Should I say something?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

How did she get to the tube station with the wrong feet? Does she limp?

You may want to stop staring at her feet.

        Dear doodab

As the previous poster replied, the young lady obviously has managed to get to the Tube in the shoes without mishap (we cannot speculate on the state of her bunions).

Therefore this does not fall into the categories of Health and Safety or accidental sartorial mishaps (red lippy on the teeth, trouser zip undone etc...)

You did the right thing by not commenting on her footwear.

They were trainers, and definitely on the wrong way. I can only assume they were so oversized she didn't notice.

Anyway, my dilemma was solved by a pregnant woman who I gave up my seat for. This caused me to hop off the tube and get a cab, cos there is no way i'm standing on that tube line in the rush hour.

Are you sure her legs weren't crossed?

They were at first, and her shoes looked the right way round. That's what made me wonder. Then she uncrossed them and left no doubt, she had them on wrong.

Maybe her legs were crossed twice and she just uncrossed them once. Hence the illusion of her shoes being on the wrong feet.

Of course, crossing and uncrossing legs is a classic flirting move.

They were uncrossed when she uncrossed them. Unless she has reversed feet, or some even more terrible deformity then they were back to front.
