Cranky wobbly video filming technique ruined yet another promising film

Just sat down to watch Hollow (2011). But a promising plot and nice outdoor scenes were completely wrecked by its relentless shaky video fly-on-the-wall filming technique, and I had to stop watching after 20 minutes just as it was getting interesting.

Fake amateur video was clever and novel for about 10 minutes back in the 1980s; but ever since it has been just corny and annoying. No wonder "Hollow" scores only 4.6 on IMDB.
