House is full of little black bugs - they don't fly or jump. As far as I know they don't bite humans (been finding them for weeks and no bites).

They look a bit like a headlouse, but bigger, and are crawling over the walls, so appear to live in the house, not on a host. They have a long 'nose' and a hard shell.

Any ideas?

A couple of times - but mostly on the walls.

I'm thinking weevil. Will clean out my larder cupboard this weekend and see if that's where the blighters are hiding.

Sound like carpet beetles, harmless and actually quite clean

Weevils. Should be easy to get rid of them.
