    Boomed then un-boomed then re-boomed again twice! (almost)

    For the past 2 months my client had been assuring me that I was being renewed and they had plenty of work for me to do. That is until last week when my manager had to apologise for the fact that finance were refusing to sign off on any more contract resource!

    I got back to my desk and updated my Linkedin status and less than a week later got a new direct contract paying 25% more (taking me to pre-recession levels) and can be done mostly from home should I choose. I've also had a semi-successful interview for another contract for which I was in contention.
