We want you in the US!

    For the next 3 months!

I bloody knew that was going to happen at some time.

Major project I'm working on goes live in July and the vast majority of work has to be done in April, May, June. Last night my boss said that he wanted me stateside for those months embedded in a 'warroom' to ensure the project is a success as working remote/late is not the best way of working.

Suggestions on how to get out of this.

Tell him to shove his job up his arse? Or should that be ass?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

A proper contractor would just get over there and do it. Oh wait .....

Erm, pardon me for asking but "How the ***** would you know what a proper contractor does?".

Have you lasted more than 3 months anywhere?

          Just asking, like...

Last gig was a 4 week stop gap and lasted 10 months.

Other gigs have lasted 20 months (4 extensions).

Does that answer your question, because I think it does.

End of July. Was April got moved.
I just need to last until the beginning of November. There's a slim chance we might move out there but at the moment I'm not sold on the idea. Got to show willing though.
