      I read an interesting article the other day, the gist of which was that the drive to make everything efficient has cut fat to the point where resillience no longer exists and many organizations will struggle to survive if the world turns.

        there is also a general ignorance of anything other than achieving the goal, during definition resilience is ignored, during developments its firmly out of scope etc.
        Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

          It makes me want to weep when I think of the excellent guys and girls I worked with on Disaster Tolerant systems.

          I had thought that with increasing awareness of Green issues we would be building more stuff that lasted.

          Alas no.
