Huge explosions at Texas fertiliser plants

Don't think this is terrorism, just a very nasty accident as seems there was a fire before one or more of the tanks went up, but it just goes to show why Fertiliser bombs was the IRA's choice for most of the troubles, that shit is nasty.

Does this mean the price of fertiliser is going to go up?

Why is this such a big news item?

It is a factory in Hicksville USA. Sad for the people concerned and all that but the coverage as usual is way over the top.

I suppose they are tying into the Boston bombing and add the ricin letters to Obama its a conspiracy theory in the making

Strange how a simple fire could explode if the fertilizer was ammonium nitrate, because that needs a detonator and a fuel.

It rattles my nads how much of our news is just repeated from the states.

It is just too easy for them to stream live news from over there with some idiot talking over it, trying to make us all believe it is important to us which it is not.

Ditto for the Hurricane season in Florida - Caribbean impact reporting is minima,l but once it touches the USofA the media descend into a feeding frenzy & endlessly report it... WGAS (unless you're in America or waxman)
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

Waco, exploding fertilizer. You have to be a bit suspicious.
