    Carrs Pasties

Day off today, my eff up, wasn't watching the Ryanair web booking form properly, booked tonights flight instead of this mornings. So I took a trip over the border into Lancashire and brought back 5 dozen Carrs Meat and Potato pasties, they are the finest ever made and the only good thing there is about my home town. Though some do favour local pastie rivals 'Ye Olde Pastie Shoppe' ones from Churchgate, I'm a Carrs man through and through.

£47 for enough pasties to last until my heart attack...

    Effing A1!!!

Ye Olde Pastie Shoppe are touristy crap unless I'm mixing them up with another twee-sounding company.

            I like your thinking though.

****! That's reminded me I've left 2 farm shop growlers in the fridge at home

They won't be too fresh come Friday

                  Nobody likes an over-ripe growler.

Indeed. Especially when I had anticipated enjoying them box-fresh, so to speak.

On second thoughts, after NickFitz pointed me in the direction of '2girls 1cup' then I wouldn't be surprised to find there are plenty of people who prefer their growlers on the over-ripe side. I'm not googling it to confirm though.
