    Reason for contracting

Just stumbled across this forum a couple of days ago and started to form the above question. Are any of you lot doing this for anything else other than money, or could none of you hold down a permanent position (missionary excluded)?

    Hello to all....

See I knew these jaunts to other fora would backfire

    So what are you then?
    Bodybuilder? Caravan owner?
did we do the pre-op-transexual site that Sas wanted to?
    Why not?

I'm in contracting so that one day I can get my very own caravan...

I like the flexibility really. I take time off when I feel like it (no 25 day holiday allowance and you're screwed when it's gone), and work when the mood takes me. I also like having control over my earnings. And then there's the swanning about the client's site in your last couple of weeks being happy at them coz you're leaving (this is what I am mostly doing at the moment).

I went contracting because there's no such thing as a permanent job.

Particularly true in the UK. A bit better in the continent, though.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

How? You googled for "test please delete" didn't you? Own up.

                  Xenphon has been breached again.
For heaven's sake that's the third time this week, can you not wear some incontinence pants or something.
