This is not going to be popular but a decent man I know whose Grand Father fought in the 1st West Indian Regiment in WWII ,His father was in the RAF and he now is a 3rd Generation British Black Man.
He's a CCIE he's a JNCIE and was contractor but can't get work and I'm surprised he can't get work even though he's dropped his rates.

It get's worse I gave him a tip off for a role which I though he was a shoe in for.
The guy who interviewed told the intermediary who gave me the tip he doesn't hire Blacks.

Is there anything I can do ?

So a black guy who just came in who works hard, pays his way, has a laugh is ok. he can stay.

a white guy who was born in my street, who sponges, does not pay his way, can get on the next boat out as far as i am concerned

On a serious note there is no way that doesn't put your reputation with the agent or client at risk too, if you feel strongly lodge a formal complaint with the company over the hiring managers head.

Alas racism is still very prevalent in this day and age, my mum is extremely racist, even so much now that she has made her self sound ridiculous.
