Bank of England - Subsidised Restaurant

    No more, as from today...

Average Price increase for contractors is a 42% increase, effective from today.

It is now going to be cheaper to go out for lunch to the likes of Wasabi / Japanese Canteen / local Sandwich Bar than to eat in.
I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

Good. The state spends too much money and has done so almost continually since the war; that's how we've ended up in this mess.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

Hang on. You are working across the road from one of the best sandwich houses in the city and you are even thinking about eating the tulipe that a works canteen dishes out?

Take this as an easy lesson, hard learned! Now go and find some decent places to fill your face!

Pray, tell the name of the "best sandwich house"?

@Mitch - better to be on the gravy train, than to have missed the train at all...

Pavarotti's on the pedestrian walkway oposite the RBS building. Their chicken escallop could feed a family of four

When I did my stint at Threadneedle Street I used the canteen almost exclusively, reasonably priced (I was a trainee at the time) & not too bad for what it was, the daily pasta dish normally was the best
