Things one would do in a fictitious semi retirement

Well, I think I would spend most of the day lecturing people about how stupid they were, I'd probably more time posting on forums too.

No, I think I'd buy myself an imaginary sports car (not too expensive to be considered a bit too unreal), do an imaginary degree, maybe an imaginary M.A. and have imaginary beers in the garden, after imaginary lunches out with imaginary old pals.

Oh, I'd have to pretend not to have to work as well, to hide the fact I was actually the house husband while the wife provided for me.

Unemployment can be dressed up so, so many ways, so can being unemployable.

Happy days. Now, for that beer in the garden

        It's an idea.

No, just thinking about how you would portray an imaginary semi retirement, generically.

Poor Old Hick. Stuck in the sticks in his dull public sector job that he has no love for.
Probably explains his bitterness. Why don't you retrain so can get more fulfilment and money?

I'd spend more time on my hobbies.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I have more money than I can shake a stick at sas love living in the sticks, and taking money from the smoke and laughing at the dullards who continue to live there

I get paid to do something I enjoy, not quite a hobby.

Look after your kids? It is fulfilling, but being your wifes biatch, that must smart, for someone who thinks so much of himself.

So why the bitterness? The constant negativity?
As an example you're the only person who regularly neg reps me like a stalker. Of course, I reply
I don't think you're very fulfilled, maybe rich in cash but poor in spirit.
