My guess is John Hurt is either the Final Doctor (canon states that he can only regenerate 12 times, so the last will be the 13th), but as 11th knew what he did which made him a Bad Doctor he could be the real Ninth Doctor from the Time Wars (Between the 1996 film and the 2005 Reboot) which would mean Matt Smith would be the 12th Doctor.Originally posted by Stevie Wonder BoyComment

Either before William Hartnell, so the 1st doctor, or between McGann and Ecclestone, which is probably a high single-digit doctor - can't be arsed to count them.
