    What's lurking in your area?

Anyone had a play with Microsoft's answer to Google Earth?

    http://local.live.com/

Some great hires aerial shots of my locatality. Can even see the garden furniture in my back garden. Great for seeing who's got a swimming pool or what lurks near a house you might be thinking of buying.

I know that they did it to p*ss off Google users, but making the mouse wheel behave the other way to Google earth makes me never want to use it.

The "drive-throughs" they have of some US cities are pretty nifty (and pointless) though.

The age of the pictures vary quite a lot. Mine is between 1 and 2 years old, my mothers 5 miles down the road is about 4 or 5.

They have plenty of photos of Wiltshire and the best views are the birds eye views.

Is there anything worth looking at outside Swindon?
