Pakistan International Airlines Plane escorted by RAF planes

The plane is being escorted to Stansted Airport by RAF fighter jets.

It was going inbound to Manchester.

Stansted is used for hostage situations and the like.

That's why they're going to Stansted, its much nicer than Manchester Airport
