    Justice?

BBC News - Cardiff hit-and-run: Matthew Tvrdon admits manslaughter

Matthew Tvrdon, 31, admitted manslaughter on grounds of diminished responsibility at Cardiff Crown Court. He also admitted seven attempted murder charges...
So let me get this straight, he tried to murder 7 people but when he actually did manage to kill someone it wasn't murder?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Is there such a thing as attempted manslaughter? I don't think there is.
