Sold the farm

As most of you know I've been trying to sell the family farm in South Devon for a few years. We'd been using most of the acreage for land fill with the local tip & the lovely stream we have running through is more toxic than a Chinese river. It's got a lovely sea view which unfortunately is going to get spoilt by the new sewage farm and Nuclear power station they've been keeping under wraps but my mate who owns the local estate agent got suggested keeping schtumm and also doublin the price so some towny thinks he's getting a deal. Luckily for me some johnny big potatoes has just put in an offer (I knocked 20% off the already enflated price). He said he plans to work from home but we don't actually have a telephone or broadband line in the area and there is a mobile mast for 20 miles.

What a result.

I hear there is a pub for sale round there too. I was thinking of buying it to "cater" for all the Eastern european workers on the Nuclear power station.
